New in legislation on licensing activities in the field of industrial safety

In the field of industrial safety, some changes have occurred with the entry into force of the law of January 1.01.2023, XNUMX “On Licensing” of the Republic of Belarus. It is worth listing the amendments introduced to the legislation:

• The simplified licensing procedure in this area has ceased to apply.
• Excluded from services or work on the development of boiler house projects.
• The list of unsafe facilities and the work that requires obtaining a license were specified in the second appendix to the law “On Licensing,” which facilitated the licensing of unsafe facilities and technical devices operating on them for certain types of work. With the adoption of amendments to the law, mandatory licensing of work on the development of technical device projects was abolished. Specialists must have education in this field and must pass a knowledge test on industrial safety issues.
